10th December 2008 - marsh lane
Vote to give Marsh Lane a £400,000 makeover

The Mayor of London is giving ten lucky London parks up to £400k each to make them cleaner, safer and greener.
Marsh Lane in Leyton has been shortlisted, and your vote could help to secure the funding.
If Marsh Lane wins the funding, it will be used to install new play equipment, renovate the sports pavilion, improve security and put in new paths, a bridge and signs.
The cash would help wildlife diversity by improving grassland habitats, developing a wild flower meadow, introducing native trees, installing nesting boxes for birds, bats and insects and putting in place log piles and compost heaps.
